The Hellenic Culture Center
established in Milan in 2002, was founded by the former
Hellenic Community of Milan (1982)
as a vehicle more representative of the same in an area of authentic cultural exchange between Italy and Greece. In this context, the CEC:
– promotes the teaching of the ancient and modern Greek language, both locally through its own schools and with the support offered to high schools in the province of Milan, and at European level through EU-funded projects;
– contributes to the cultural life of the city of Milan by offering the Hellenic perspective with initiatives aimed at the world of art, entertainment and letters;
– promotes the aggregation and coordination of citizens of Hellenic origin and all of whom are attracted to classical and modern Hellenic culture;
– collaborates with Greek and Italian institutions in initiatives aimed at increasing the friendship between the two countries in the educational and cultural spheres.
For all these initiatives, we ask for your membership and support.
Becoming a member means contributing to the cultural offer of the CEC in our city.
